We use 1-2 MSDAT (minimum save drive away time) bonding systems to get you going as soon and as safe as possible. We are a family-owned business that understands the importance of your safety on the road and have invested close to $10K within recent years in training seminars, tools and certifications to give you the peace of mind that you deserve.

Our very own Jorge Sandoval wins silver AT INTERNATIONAL AUTO GLASS TECHNICIAN COMPETITION

(Montgomery) MORENO VALLEY, Calif. — Jorge Sandoval, owner of KD Auto Glass of Moreno Valley, Calif., won the silver medal in the Auto Glass Technician competition during Auto Glass Week™ (AGW), held June 7-9 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Sandoval, who lives in Ontario, Calif., took home $1,000 and was one of just four competitors to make it into the final heat.
Auto Glass Week™ is the only event that offers the original equipment (OE) and aftermarket auto glass repair and replacement industry the opportunity to learn from peers and industry experts.
The Pilkington Clear Advantage Auto Glass Technician competition is designed to honor the technician who completes the best automotive glass installation.
Areas judged include professionalism, credentials, and knowledge; technician comportment and vehicle safety inspection; proper product, equipment, and tools usage; proper auto glass removal and installation procedures and techniques; and post-installation and customer procedures.
This was Sandoval’s first time competing and he vows to be back next year.
“I’m very proud of myself,” said Sandoval. “But it was teamwork. I had a lot of people behind me, cheering me on, giving me advice and helping me out.”
Like most competitors, Sandoval is an Auto Glass Safety Council™ certified technician and a National Windshield Repair Division certified technician.
